100 Word Review - (500) Days of Summer

If you’re looking for a great feel good romantic comedy then keep moving as this humorous drama spits on the conventions of the typical romance and yet still somehow manages to pull through with an interesting and uplifting tale. Gordon-Levitt and Deschanel spin an age old tale of courtship. A love struck boy desperately in love with the spunky uninterested girl of his dreams. The premise though far from unique manages to take a genre flooded with waste of time rehash films and pulls in eccentric witty writing, and a unique cinematography style that leave it feeling fresh, and innovative.

An excellent date movie for folks that have never seen Annie Hall, and don't understand what "derivative" means.
