100 Word Review - Caught in the Crossfire

Grand Rapids native Brian Miller alongside rapper turned actor Curtis Jackson premiered their latest work a gritty police action mystery to a sold-out theater tonight. Two homicide detectives find themselves caught up in a plot filled with gang hits, and dirty cops as they investigate a string of murders that last ended with the death of an undercover cop. With a plot full of twists and uncertainty, and a cast whose acting leaves you guessing the whole film Caught in the Crossfire takes the tired police film idea and reinvents it in a wonderfully produced rush of a crime drama.

This movie is going to be HUGE! I've had the pleasure of working with Brian Miller and I'll say this,

"Hollywoods next big director"

I really hope his films don't keep going the way they are though. Not his style but his luck since they keep getting shot down and sent to DVD or such limited release that no one sees it.

I thought this was a great film that could have easily made its money back in a theatrical release plus some which is why I was astounded it didn't even manage a limited release
