The Human Centipede is a sadistic story of a deranged surgeon who in his quest to create a human centipede begins kidnapping travelers. Wondering how he plans to create the centipede? Well that is where the movie gets a bit twisted. By sewing the mouths and anus of his victims together the mad doctor creates a horrifically linked monstrosity. At this point most people will either be completely turned off to this film by its grotesque nature or roped in by their curiosity but either way this films slow, unresolved plot outweighs its shock factor making it a boring experience.

I have not seen this yet,but still plan to see it since My business is acting and writing.Having traveled to 38 countries & been deep in the jungles I have seen my share of monstrosities, so with that said, my shock lies in the question of how a Dutch director comes up with this and why ? Since actually becoming desensitized through experience in human evil, I find the topic to be more embarrassing for somebody trying to claim their 15 minutes of fame.
My next screenplay far exceeds the limits of evil.

Yeah I don't think the way they executed the concept was even that horrible. For the most part it is pretty tame as far as horror film standards go these days. It is just the thought of being completely out of control and being forced to live a midst the endless cycle of eating someone's waste that makes the movie shockingly repulsive. Well that and the way they ended it which I wont spoil for anyone who still wants to watch it. Didn't like the ending but it still added to the whole feeling of helplessness they force on the victims throughout the film.
Thank you for the insightful comment and follow on twitter. Always glad to see people reading this stuff :)
I haven't seen this film, but I had to hit the "agree" button on your blog. I fall into the "repulsed" category and agree: This is definately not worth seeing.

That's about right. When I watched, I couldn't really see what the big deal was about. Yeah, high "ick" factor, but that was about it. If you want a really disturbing movie, catch "Seed".
