One of the three major horror franchises gets its reboot as Haley takes up the role of the infamous dream slasher Freddy Kruger. Like the previous run of the series we begin as a string of murders leave this small community in terror. Knowing their parents are hiding something the remaining teens set out to solve the mystery of Fred Kruger before they become victims as well. Though entertaining at its core and a great performance by Haley the typical cliché ridden dialogue leaves me wondering if we will ever get a new horror that puts in some real effort.
