Pushing the boundaries of every genre it approaches Priest tells the story of a holy warrior who once fought for humanity's survival in the war against the vampires. Now with his family in danger the lone Priest must turn his back on the church who has forbade his request and hunt down the vampires responsible. Harnessing vampires, martial arts trained holy-men, and nitro-boosted desert bikes Priest promises a fast-paced sci-fi action film. Unfortunately for the movie going public every gimmick falls short Priest boils down to nothing more than an unoriginal story bolstered by sparse action and too many one-liners.
