The first avenger and the final piece of the puzzle leading up to 2012's anticipated super team endeavor The Avengers, Captain America makes a solid effort with the final origin story behind the team. A scrawny military reject Steve Rogers is recruited to test a super soldier serum that will turn him into the iconic hero patriot with a purity and bravery that will help turn the tides of World War II. The all-American tale hits the mark but not without some faltering steps as the story fails to flow and instead feels more like two short films forced together.
