100 Word News – Harry Potter's Disappearing Act

With their final film soon to make its DVD release and the wildly successful Harry Potter series at its close the studio behind its success is borrowing a play straight from the Disney handbook by ceasing production of the films in all physical formats by year's end. This means that come December 29th Warner Brother's will no longer be shipping copies of the eight films to retailers. The films will still be available through various videos-on-demand outlets and streaming services online but for fans of the series who have been holding off on their DVD purchases, make your move soon.

I may have dialed back on the news posts but this one definitely seemed like a topic that people should know about.
