With their final film soon to make its DVD release and the wildly successful Harry Potter series at its close the studio behind its success is borrowing a play straight from the Disney handbook by ceasing production of the films in all physical formats by year's end. This means that come December 29th Warner Brother's will no longer be shipping copies of the eight films to retailers. The films will still be available through various videos-on-demand outlets and streaming services online but for fans of the series who have been holding off on their DVD purchases, make your move soon.

100 Word Review - Puss in Boots
On the heels of the Shrek franchise
DreamWorks pulls audiences back into its fairytale world with the
character off-shoot Puss in Boots. After a close call the synonymous
outlaw Puss hears rumor of a treasure that he's been in search of his
whole life. Accompanied by an old companion and a cunning new thief
Puss sets out to retrieve his prize. Originally scheduled to be a
direct-to-DVD spin-off Puss in Boots offers more of the same style
and humor you'd expect from the Shrek world. A great film for kids
and Shrek fans but doesn't hold much weight beyond that.| Review: |

100 Word Review - The Ides of March
George Clooney is no doubt the
all-American star of Hollywood so it only makes sense for him to
direct, write, and star as the Presidential hopeful in his latest
film Ides of March. Taking us to the underbelly of the democratic
primaries we find a idealistic golden mind Stephen (Gosling) who is
leading the Morris campaign to victory when the underhanded tactics
of his opposition spin him down a trail of doubt, and regret. The
film follows theme of duality in politics that carries from the
story, to the high-contrast cinematography to create a visually and
psychologically appealing political drama.

100 Word Review - Real Steel
A mix of science-fiction and sports
Real Steel takes a simple concept and twists it into a fun film. Down
on his luck, ex-boxer and now headstrong robot boxer Charlie Kenton
finds himself at the end of his rope when an unfortunate string of
events lands him in custody of his estranged son for the summer.
Feeding off each-other the pair hit the road on a robot-boxing tour
with their underdog fighter Atom. A trite father-son concept spiced
up with some robotic flair Real Steel finds a balance between action
and story that create a fun and entertaining boxing film.

100 Word News - The Avengers Trailer
Marvel studios dropped the first real
look into 2012's highly anticipated summer superhero flick The
Avengers. It may only be a 30 second teaser but those 30 seconds pack
a punch filled with great character interaction, handfuls of action
shots and set to Nine Inch Nails “We're In This Together.” It is
nice to see some of the group staples still intact like the
quarreling nature of Captain America's boyscout personality, and Tony
Stark's immature sarcastic wit as Robert Downey Jr. delivers some
humorous lines the remind us why he was the man who rebooted the
superhero film craze.

100 Word Review - 50/50
The idea of a comedic film based around
a tragic widespread illness like cancer is a hard one to swallow.
Fortunately for the team behind 50/50 what may come off as a
lighthearted comedy in the trailers ends up packing a much more
genuine and respectable punch on screen. After discovering he has
cancer Adam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) must break the news to his friends
and family as he begins treatment. With great performances all around
50/50 takes a devastating event and brings it to life with characters
that feel as confused and uncertain as the situation at hand calls
for.| Review: |
